First Squamish Race of the season
It turns out that those big wheels roll fast... I managed to squeak out the victory ahead of Jeremy Norris and Pat Foster. Full results are here: http://www.sorca.ca/dh-toonie-results/
After the DH race it was time to race the XC, I was a bit spent fron the DH race, but enjoyed the long and technical course that the team from Reach Physio laid out for the racers. Thanks to SORCA for putting on another great event and fun day for the community!

Mike has been racing and riding mountain bikes for most of his life. He grew up in Victoria, BC trying to keep up to guys like Geoff Kabush, Andrea's Hestler and Roland Green, despite the cross country background Mike's favorite time riding is on the downhill.
He was a fixture on the Canadian race circuit, including many North American World Cups and represented Canada on the National team 5 times and was the Canadian Downhill Champion 3 times.
